Pupil Parliament

Pupil Parliament is a group of students who are elected by their peers to represent the views of all pupils, with the ultimate aim of improving the school. Each year, classes elect one representative to be members of the Pupil Parliament. Year 6 classes also vote for an additional role, Headteacher’s Representative.

Pupil Parliament usually meet once a half term with a teacher present, to discuss and sort out problems. This may include school lunches, pupil behaviour or playground routines.

Members of the Pupil Parliament are responsible for carrying out the ideas that have been agreed, such as sponsored events, arranging litter picking activities and sharing news of any competitions.
